Modak Group Pty Ltd(이하 "회사")는 Rankly(이하 "서비스") 이용자의 개인정보를 중요하게 생각하며, 관련 법령을 준수하여 이용자의 개인정보를 보호하기 위해 다음과 같은 처리방침을 둡니다.

1. 수집하는 개인정보 항목

서비스는 회원 가입 및 서비스 제공을 위해 아래와 같은 정보를 수집합니다.

Apple 로그인의 경우, 이용자가 "이메일 가리기"를 선택하면 실제 이메일 대신 Apple이 제공하는 비공개 전달 이메일이 수집됩니다.

4. 위치정보의 처리

서비스는 주변 장소 추천 및 거리 계산을 위해 기기의 현재 위치 정보를 이용합니다. 위치 정보는 이용자가 기기에서 위치 권한에 동의한 경우에만 수집되며, 기기 설정에서 언제든지 권한을 철회할 수 있습니다. 위치 권한을 허용하지 않아도 서비스의 기본 기능은 이용할 수 있으나 일부 위치 기반 기능이 제한될 수 있습니다.

5. 개인정보의 제3자 제공 및 처리위탁

회사는 이용자의 개인정보를 외부에 판매하지 않습니다. 다만 안정적인 서비스 운영을 위해 아래와 같이 처리를 위탁합니다.

다만 부정 재가입 방지 및 법령상 의무 이행을 위해 필요한 최소한의 식별값은 별도로 분리·보관될 수 있습니다.

7. 이용자의 권리

이용자는 언제든지 본인의 개인정보에 대해 다음 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.

Modak Group Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "the Company") values the privacy of users of Rankly ("the Service") and maintains this Privacy Policy to protect your personal information in compliance with applicable laws.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information for membership registration and to provide the Service.

If you choose "Hide My Email" with Apple Sign In, a private relay email provided by Apple is collected instead of your actual email address.

2. How We Collect Information

During sign-up and authentication via social login (Google, Apple, Kakao)
Through your direct input while using the Service (saving, rating, feedback, etc.)
Location data when you grant location permission on your device
Automatic collection via analytics tools

3. Purpose of Use

User identification, login, and account management
Providing place rankings/recommendations and distance calculation based on your current location
Providing personalized features such as saving and rating places
Sending notifications and responding to inquiries and feedback
Improving service quality and analyzing usage statistics

4. Handling of Location Data

The Service uses your device's current location to recommend nearby places and calculate distances. Location data is collected only when you grant location permission on your device, and you may withdraw this permission at any time in your device settings. You can still use the core features of the Service without granting location permission, although some location-based features may be limited.

5. Third-Party Processing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. However, we entrust processing to the following providers for stable service operation.

Withdraw membership and delete personal information via the in-app account deletion feature

The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
